Mexican airline Interjet opens new route from Bogota to Cancun

Bogota, Oct. 20 (Notimex).- Mexican airline Interjet will open a new route linking the cities of Bogota and Cancun, from next October 31, the company said in a statement.

Interjet will begin operations of "its new route between Bogota and Cancun on a daily basis, equivalent to an offer of two thousand 100 weekly seats."

"This new nonstop flight between Bogota and Cancun will offer an excellent alternative to the hundreds of tourists from Colombia and Latin America in general to Cancun," Interjet said.

The Mexican resort of Cancun "has become for Interjet one of the most important distribution centers of national and international flights, where we currently operate routes to Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Toluca, Havana, Miami, Los Angeles and New York, "said Jose Luis Garza, Interjet´s CEO.

Tickets are now available for sale with a rate of introduction from 299 dollars round trip including taxes.

Mexican airline offers "the largest space between seats and the ability to document up to 50 kilos of luggage free of charge, which can include sports equipment or pets, and if you book Priority class, up to 75 kilos of luggage."

In addition all flights have a permanent discount for seniors.
